Harvard MHFAL — Research Fellow, Global Mental Health Implementation Science (×2) · Closes May 31 (7 days)

Dr. John Naslund's Mental Health for All Lab at HMS has two open slots. The focus is digital technologies for scaling psychosocial interventions in underserved settings domestically and globally. Harvard's Center for Geographic Analysis (CGA) is Harvard University's hub for GIS research, training, and spatial data infrastructure, affiliated with the Institute for Quantitative Social Science. 3 The role divides time across four buckets: 30% GIS workshop training, 30% research support and consultation for the Harvard community, 30% independent research, and 10% community-building. Start is Fall 2026. Preferred qualifications include PhD in geography, GIScience, or a related social science, along with experience in desktop GIS, R, or Python; spatial AI interest is listed as a plus.

Harvard's Graduate School of Design trains architects, landscape architects, urban planners, and designers, and is one of three professional design schools among Ivy League institutions. 4 The position sits in the Department of Architecture and targets a scholar-practitioner whose work spans fabrication, AI/machine learning, and related digital media fields. Teaching duties include introductory Computational Design, Digital Media, and Digital Fabrication courses, advanced AI/ML courses, and participation in design studio reviews. Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons is the medical school of Columbia University in New York City, affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, one of the top-ranked academic medical centers in the U.S. The Department of Neurology is conducting this search in collaboration with the NCI-designated Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center (HICCC). 6 Clinical responsibilities span outpatient activity, inpatient neuro-oncology consultation, and clinical trial enrollment for brain tumor patients. Minimum degree: M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or D.O. Additional requirements include eligibility for UCNS Neuro-Oncology certification, a New York State medical license, and federal DEA registration.
